Exam results time is surprisingly different at University. It is an affront to my sense of normality that I don't have to wait two-and-a-bit months for a piece of paper to come through my metaphorical letterbox at one in the afternoon.
Instead, I will go in to uni tomorrow, and, as long as a group of academics gets enough tea to fuel a markers' meeting, I should have my results by the end of trading. For two subjects that is (albeit my intended Honours subjects). Unfortunately, I have to wait until Monday to discover what the Electronic Engineers make of my script.
Tenterhooks it is not though. And that I cannot explain.
