The Experiment featured on our screens again tonight. It was slightly more hopeful, although the notion that the prisoners could dictate rules to the guards persisted, somewhat bizarrely. I wonder if it would be breaching somebody's human rights if one were to swear at him...
I think that the show is being edited in such a way that the characters are simplified, the prime example being the most ineffectual guard, Quarry. I can't quite understand why, if he were being bullied so much by the prisoners, he would want to become envoy to them. Perhaps someone could explain this.
All-in-all it looks like it might be worth persisting with, but I still prefer the premise of the Stanford Prison Experiment.
