If you aren't reading this through an RSS reader, you really should be. It would save you the grief of waking up, of a Thursday morning, thinking, "Maybe this will be the day," launching Internet Explorer, and discovering that I've not bothered to update.

Okay, maybe not the most compelling excuse for RSS, but I humbly present five reasons why you should be living life in an aggregator:

• News from the BBC - though, if you're relying solely on RSS for your news, you might miss the five-minute warning.
• B3ta's Best of Board - use technology to jump on memes faster than your slowpoke, mass-emailing "friends".
• Gary's UGC Cinema Listings and (new today!) ActoRss feeds let you stalk an actress, then find out when her new film's on at the cinema.
• Last, and certainly not least, the utterly spiffy Tapestry Comic RSS feeds. Now you need no longer subscribe to the Daily (except Sunday) Dilbert - you can get it seven days a week in your aggregator!

Go now and get into RSS, while you still have an excuse.
